War Thunder September Update Will Introduce New Greek Subtrees

The next major content update for Gaijin Entertainment’s military action game War Thunder is own it’s way. When the update, titled Sky Odyssey, drops later this month, it will bring new Greek subtrees for both aviation and ground forces. The aviation lineup features craft ranging from the mid-20th-century to more modern combat jets. One of the oldest in the lineup is the SB2C-5 Helldiver dive bomber first used in 1949. More modern crafts include the A-7H and A-7H which are known for carrying weaponry used in anti-tank missions. Although, they are also capable of attacking air defense systems using Shrike missiles.

The update will also bring quite a few new signature vehicles. Included among those are the Arjun MK 1, which is India’s first domestically designed main battle tank, and the British AW1599 Wildcat HMA2 helicopter.

Players can also look forward to a new map based on the Darwin Hill area where the British and Argentine forces classed. The map is described as a treeless biome with rocky coasts and mostly single-story buildings. More details about the update will be available on the War Thunder site.
